Many years ago we had the pleasure of helping Hyatt add a golf green to their Classic Residence Senior Housing property in Highlands Ranch. Since that time the property has been renamed – Vi.
When approached to install the putting green we were asked about the cost. A quick study of water rates in Denver and conversations with local golf course superintendents we were able to show costs of irrigation for a natural grass green over the course of 4-6 years is the same cost of installing one of our greens that require virtually no maintenance. Once the maintenance costs of a natural grass green were added to the water costs, the choice became obvious.
