Contamination – Mud or grass clippings no longer get into the pool. Even creating a buffer between the landscape beds of mulch or pine straw with artificial grass helps keep the pool cleaner. We do use infill down in the turf but the sand is pool filter sand so there are no worries about any migration issues that really only occur the first couple of weeks after installation.

Durability – Synthetic Grass such as Tan 73 is made to take a beating, making it suitable for areas around the pool that see a lot of people walking with wet feet or where pool toys might be dragged around.

Year Round – Consistent Aesthetics – The turf that looks natural fits in nicely with the landscapes that exist already, and it maintains a cohesive, environmentally pleasing look around the pool that is aesthetically nice year-round. Here in the Atlanta area you have 2 grass choices – cool or warm season. If you get cool season grass like rye or fescue it will thin out during the hot summer months and cause mud to get into the pool. Warm season grasses sometimes don’t start their full growth after winter dormancy until late May or early June,
