My favorite quote in golf comes from none other than Alister MacKenzie, golf architect of famous courses like Cypress Point and Augusta National. Later in life Dr. Mackenzie was living on Pasatiempo Golf Course (one which you can play) just north of Monterey Bay on the California Coast. Commenting on the great weather and his home’s position on the 6th hole he stated…”I have always wanted to live where one could hit golf shots in ones pajamas before breakfast.”
