Daycare Synthetic Grass Project

This Boston Early Learning Center was founded on the philosophy of nurturing kids “through hands-on experience that enhances the development of each child’s whole self: physical, intellectual, creative, social, and emotional.” With its daily influx of active kids from 6 weeks to 14 years old, this thriving Boston daycare and preschool has a lot of traffic to accommodate in its outdoor play area—and their existing lawn was worn down to dirt from all those little feet.

When they contacted us, they were looking to transform the space completely with a synthetic grass play yard that could withstand at least a decade of rugged use without watering, fertilizing, mowing, or any additional maintenance. The artificial turf would need to be tough enough to handle all-day play from 30 to 40 kids. It would also need to be soft enough to cushion potential falls from the center’s many toddlers and early walkers.

With a tight window to get the turf play yard ready for use without depriving the kids of any play time, we were able to scope, measure, construct a base and custom-install our popular C-60oz synthetic grass to accommodate the existing sandbox—all in a span of 5 days!

Our clients reported that it was great to see the delight of the kids—and their parents—when they saw the lush green of their new and improved synthetic grass play area. It was a pleasure to provide a clean, green, carefree turf lawn for the young students and the caring teachers and administrators of this school.
