Field and Sports Turf

Keeping Athletes safe while playing sports will always be a concern for everyone involved.  Proper padding below the turf that is engineer to deliver the very best performance possible but is also throughly tested is the only way to install artificial turf fields.  Many other factors play a role but none are more important than player safety.

Grass!365 has always preferred to go about designing and installing sports fields with the safety layer of padding beneath the turf.  This protects the safety layer, it cannot move or get dispersed like crumb rubber and it is not exposed to the sun.   If the safety layer is below the turf then we can install the infill for the turf with sand which is easier to clean off and does not float or leave a black film on the players.

Sports surface installation require systems designed specifically for the intended use..  Each use has its own set of circumstances and its own challenges.  Not only how the surface feels to run on or impact during a fall or slide, but also how the ball rolls or bounces or slows down across the surface.  Reaction, bouncing, skidding, softness and firmness all have to be taken into account when choosing the base, drainage, yarn, infill, padding and grade.
