Do you use Crumb Rubber for cushion?

Grass!365 has installed a few projects with crumb rubber. While this is the go to standard for synthetic turf sport fields, we prefer to place a sports padding below the turf. This ensures even proper safety layer that will not get displaced no matter the amount of traffic.

How long do fields take to build?

Synthetic Turf Sports Fields take the longest amount of time compared to other turf installations. Almost every project with good weather can be completed within one month and some faster. The drainage and grading of the base are the main reasons why these installation are more time consuming. The grading of the dirt below the base as well as the aggregate base itself require good weather. The number of lines for carious sports also plays a role in the installation timeline.

What do you mean by Recyclable?

Grass!365 installs our SealTuft artificial turf. During manufacturing, almost all fields are tufted, which is the industry term for sewing the yarn into a primary backing. Both the yarn and primary backing are generally recyclable. However, the challenge with recycling arises when securing the yarn fibers to the backing. Typically, this is done using a polyurethane coating, commonly known as urethane, which prevents the product from being recycled without first stripping the backing—a costly process leaving only the yarn. SealTuft employs an alternative method to secure the fibers, making the entire field 100% recyclable. Every year, over 1,500 fields end up in landfills, but with Grass!365 and SealTuft, this is avoidable.
